The DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest

The Old Concord Chapter annually recognizes and rewards up to 8 high school seniors who possess the qualities of a Good Citizen: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. ​These students are selected by their teachers and peers because they demonstrate these qualities to an outstanding degree.

Our Good Citizens are selected by the following schools:
       Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, Acton
       Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, Marlborough
       Concord-Carlisle High School, Concord
       Hudson High School, Hudson
       Marlborough High School, Marlborough
       Minuteman Regional Technical High School, Lexington
       Maynard High School, Maynard
       Nashoba Regional High School, Bolton
